Solid works

In this session i want to make my final project model and i will animate that model.so first i make all part and then i assemble that part in the same software.

solar concentrator dish

In this i first i select the line and then i choose the arc i join that arc to one point of vertical line then i revolve that part around the middle line and my dish is now ready

system part

In this i make the rod for put the pot on that rod so for that i simply draw a circle and extrude that circle and give them dimensions

then i want to make the base of this solar concentrator for that i select one plane and i draw rectangle i extrude that part and then i use make the outer line and the middle part i make it as extrude cut.then i select its top plane and i draw the two rectangle on it i i again extrude that part this become its handle part

after that i move to the dish holder for that i simply draw a rectangl and change its corner parts according with middele rod because at the time of assembly it will be fixed there.so at the corner side i make one circle which is having radius of that rod and i extrude cut that part

at the time of assembly there is needto fix that dish on the dish holder but the shape of dish is circular and at the time of assembly it is diffecult to join it so i draw one plate below the dish

Assembly

In solid works there is one more part i.e assembly means after making the parts we can see its assembl ebefor print it and it is very use full in pressfit kit

now i open the assembly part and i import my all parts one by one then i join this part and said mate then my part is fix overthere.in first i import the stand and middele rod then i mate them

then i import the holder of panel then i fixed it to the rod

then i import the dish and mate it on holder and my design is ready now

Animation of design

In solid work there is one more feture i.e how design work show by animation,for that i click on the motion study then one new window open same like video editing

Then i set the frequency and time and then click on the animate wizard and then new window open in this we set the rotation means the product move in x or in y direction i.e set from here

after seting the rotation axis i play the video

Render

Give the colour or set the backround is render i use the keyshot software for this and i give the put the mirror on dish in this with shine

learning outcomes

This is the best software for me I design my all parts in this because it is having more fetures than 123d and google sketchup
